Nagrand where is

During the war against the draenei, Prophet Velen and a retinue of priests made their way to Oshu'gun — the vessel that brought them to Draenor — where they were taken prisoner by Durotan and the Frostwolf clan , and eventually released Durotan's reasoning being that the draenei allowed themselves to be taken prisoner, therefore there was no honor in holding them.

When the elements abandoned the orcish people, it was here — again, in the shadow of Oshu'gun — that Gul'dan introduced the orcish people to warlock magics. Today the Mag'har , the orcs who did not partake of the blood of Mannoroth and cut themselves off from the other corrupted clans, make their home here, as do the Kurenai , Broken draenei seeking to find their destiny. Nagrand was one of the first locations to show the signs of corruption from released fel magics including desiccation by long droughts, fertile soil turned to dust and sand that would not hold grasses or crops, and the acrid odor similar to something burning [1] RotH However, having largely escaped the severity of corruption seen elsewhere in the world, it became known as mag'har , "uncorrupted".

It remained one of the few places in the world along with the Fields of Farahlon and portions of Terokkar Forest that looked largely as they did before the corruption of the world. Illidan Stormrage, Kael'thas Sunstrider and Lady Vashj managed to seize the Black Temple from Magtheridon by shutting down several dimensional gateways used by Magtheridon to bring demons from the Twisting Nether.

Nagrand is the last unscarred region in Outland. It is the ancestral home of the orcs and the heart of early orcish shamanism. Today it is a fertile retreat where elementals commune with mortals on a regular basis. Marauding ogres from the Blade's Edge Mountains, meaning to claim the territory as their own, currently pose the greatest threat to this unspoiled reserve. Pink-channeled sky. Although the geography of the Barrens is of the same type a savanna , Nagrand is greener and has a minor amount of wetland in places, as well as an overall higher presence of water.

The zone's background music implies a mood of reverence, solemnity, and a certain amount of sorrow at its now somewhat broken nature.

Nagrand was covered by snow during Draenor's winters although its unclear if Outland still has regular seasons. There are no dungeons or battlegrounds in Nagrand. However, there is plenty of opportunity for combat: the city of Halaa is constantly under siege from one faction or the other, and the Ring of Trials arena frequently sees heated gladiatorial battles.

Been looking for it to complete a quest and cannot find it. Comment by Allakhazam 51, 56 for the abandoned armory. Comment by Allakhazam Let's get some coords for this place! Comment by Allakhazam Anyone know what this area is for? Comment by Allakhazam The area is accessable by flight only. There are high level ogres and mining. No great drops or rewards to speak of. If you fly straight up from in front of Aldor bank, the area is behind the bank.

There are two lev 70 or 71 elite ogre shamen that may have better drops but they spawn 3 lev 60 undead skeletons upon attack, I had to feign death and run off. Comment by Allakhazam I see there aren't any cords for this one 27, Comment by Allakhazam 32, Comment by Allakhazam hmm dont see any map here.

Comment by Thottbot Comment by Thottbot There is a flight path at 54,74 Titan. Comment by Thottbot the most amusing thing about this zone are all the possible elite quests Coordinates are: 54, Comment by Thottbot alliance quests in telaar are dependant on kurenai rep; you're unfriendly with them by default they won't attack you, but you can't talk to them, nor can you use their vendors.

Comment by Thottbot This is the best Outland zone. No stupid Fel Reaver to gank you while you try to survive from 4 felboar attacks Comment by Thottbot Is it just me, or is Nagrand very pretty. Comment by Thottbot I agree, Nagrand is very vibrant and full of life. Hellfire was pretty bland, Terokkar was interesting until you got to the "Bone Waste" area- which is basicly like Desolace.

Grey and gay. But now, this beautiful landscape and environment really sticks out. Also nice to see Nessingwary again. His quests are similar to his son's in Stranglethorn. You have to kill 30 Clefts, 30 birds, and 30 talbuks. Comment by Thottbot To raise rep here it is pretty easy.

Go and kill some of the mobs that your faction doesnt like. And at 62 I would not be here. I would save this for late 64 early 65ish. I do ALL the zang quests before coming here and skip terakkar forest i dont know how to spell it. The zang quest are pretty easy. Just go into your factions area, grab all the quests and then go kill everything you see. Alliance has Quests to get stuff off of almost everything in zang.

Not to sure about horde. The reason i like to save this place till 65ish is because once complete all the quests here you will be And if not 70 you will be 69 and can just do a SV run and there you go I am a skinner so were ever i go i walk and kill everything to skin so i get a bunch of XP from grinding too. Make sure you do ring of blood at 65, you will get a great weapon that will last you till Comment by Thottbot 1.

The forest of Terokkar was a nice transition as it had crystals and tall lush trees and a clasic feel to it Finally something cool, the breathtaking views and lush overlooks along with the abundant wildlife and lack of duskiness gave this place the perfect mix of Loch Modan and Barrens: without the gay chat. By far my favorite zone.

Comment by Thottbot And for all u emos out there yes there still is a small patch of sickness for u to graze in in the forge camps to the east :P it has everything. Mo'mor the Breaker — Get from mobs at Patience and Understanding - Comment by Thottbot Q: Are there any instances in Nagrand or surrounding regions which offer Kurenai rep by killing monsters in the instance?

Comment by Thottbot Feel free to finish all the quests in all the zones. About you coming to Nagrand feel freee to do it - lots of fune here. I skiped this place couse I was doin UB and for a long time after I finished all the zanga quests and all the quests in Terokar cept bone wastes. So I came here as a lvlv 70 rogue potion master in grind for money for epic flyer and Kurenai rep and Consortium.

Hemet Nesingvary is here too. Lots of elite quests which makes this area intresting. Yu'll defenetly love Nagrand. Come here, get a group and do all the quests together. I spent a week or two here and I learned that this place is about team work. So get a friend or two, or three or 4 and come here and have fun leveling, grinding even ganking if on PvP realm.

Comment by Thottbot i love nagrand it is insanley beautiful and the quests r really easy nagrand reminds me of those zelda games which i personally loved. Comment by Thottbot its such a good place ring of blood was by far the best quest chain i earned about g and got an awsome weapon which was horned voidaxe rules for a tank with 45 stamina.

The hemet nesingawary quests are good as you grind alot and theres a few elite quests in them. AT 1 point i farmed the murkblood village earned alot of gold there and got the plans so far in nagrand i think ive earned gold but i not finish hemet nesingwary quests yet. The only bad thing is being ganked as it happens alot to me. But nevertheless still the best zone in outland. Comment by Thottbot nagrand is a cool place to quest..

Comment by Thottbot ok - I am down to 1 quest left in Nagrand. Does anyone know if the PVP quest goes towards the achievement? If not maybe where 1 quest can be hiding. I've done all other areas except for 7 in Blades i'm looking for. Comment by Thottbot Stuck at 74 too, can't figure out what I'm missing. She gives you two quests then one to find Altruis in Nagrand.

Turn that one in that one gave me the 75th and he has a few other quests to do if you're still short. Comment by Thottbot were is flight path? In Nagrand it seems more realistic to us because the sky is blue but if you look carefully the sky has go blue streaks of magic flowing so it isn't as normal as it seems.

Comment by Thottbot Anyone else missing just 2 or 3 quests to get the Achievemnt "Nagrand Slam" and cant find them? I do anyway, so if anyone have any sugestion to what quest it can be that im missing i will be much obliged :. I wonder why im already 63 lvl Shaman in Beta and can farm ogres in southern Nagrand no problem lvls even 2 same time! Comment by Lotimar Garadar has a mailbox.

Once you have bought flight, you won't need to have to walk through there anymore. This zone remained largely unscathed when the planet was destroyed. The Ogre castle of Highmaul was the highest casualty of the destruction as it no longer stands in any form.

In the top right of the zone is the Throne of Elements, it is here that the weedy Gul'dan gained the spells and evil that he used to subvert his race. He and Nerzhul, another Orc would experiment too much with Fel energy that the planet would crumble and all that was left was the Outlands asteroid.

In the centre of the zone is a small island called Halaa. That island can be fought over by the two factions in P. The white object in the bottom right corner is a large alien building which can be entered. There is nothing much to say about it, there are no significant events or quests involving the object. The only thing to visit it is for the exploration achievement and then no need to go back.
