The great thing about this species is that it has wonderful bark, attractive white flowers and that makes it a real feature in this sort of position - a focus for the garden. This is one of those wonderful trees which, if it gets a little bit big or a little bit woody, you can cut right back down here and it'll grow again from this basal lignotuber, giving you a brand new tree.
